Transforming a East Yorkshire Guest House into a Luxury Aparthotel

Wayth supported the full redevelopment of a dated eight-bedroom guest house into The Briarcroft, a sixteen-bed luxury aparthotel that opened in June 2024.

The project doubled the property's capacity and repositioned it as a high-quality destination designed around comfort, flexibility, and longer guest stays.

The aparthotel offers self-contained rooms with fully fitted kitchens alongside shared kitchen and laundry facilities, attracting a mix of leisure travellers, executives, and contractors.

Since opening, The Briarcroft has consistently performed above industry average, achieving 90% monthly occupancy across its first twelve months.

Following the success of the project, a second aparthotel is already in development in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, with completion planned for 2026.
